This week is Read Across America week. However, due to so many schools having their celebrations this week, we decided to celebrate next week, March 7th - 11th instead. We will still have activities on Dr. Seuss' birthday, which is this Wednesday, March 2nd. We will be celebrating with spirit wear each day of next week. The schedule is attached. Our Read across America Day will be next Wednesday, March 9th. We will have guest readers from across the district celebrating with our kids.

Hollyvale's COVID Test Pick up Drive Through Event Map
Hello Hollyvale Families!
HUSD is distributing at-home COVID tests for student use at multiple drive-thru distribution events within our district. These tests are optional and not mandatory. Hollyvale will be hosting our drive-thru event:
Wednesday, January 19th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Hollyvale Innovation Academy.
We will be sending home a flyer on Tuesday that you will need to have filled out and bring with you in order to receive your student’s tests at our Hollyvale Drive-Thru Event. You will also need to bring with proof of identity, as a parent/guardian. (Drivers License or any other form of ID). Only parents/guardians will be allowed to pick up tests.
If you have multiple students who attend HUSD, please fill out a printed letter for EACH child. ONLY students who attend HUSD will be given tests. If you pick up tests at our site you will NOT be able to pick up more tests from another drive-thru event within our district. There are only two tests, per student, attending HUSD at this time. If you are unable to attend our drive-thru event at Hollyvale, please check social media for more information on other drive thru events or ways to pick up your testing kits.

HUSD está distribuyendo pruebas COVID en el hogar para uso de los estudiantes en múltiples eventos de distribución dentro de nuestro distrito. Estas pruebas son opcionales y no obligatorias. Hollyvale organizará nuestro evento de autoservicio:
Miércoles 19 de enero de 2:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m. en Hollyvale Innovation Academy.
Enviaremos a casa un folleto el martes que deberá completar y traer con usted para recibir las pruebas de su estudiante en nuestro evento Hollyvale Drive-Thru. También deberá traer una prueba de identidad, como padre/tutor. (Licencia de conducir o cualquier otra forma de identificación). Solo los padres/tutores podrán recoger las pruebas.
Si tiene varios estudiantes que asisten a HUSD, complete una carta impresa para CADA niño. ÚNICAMENTE los estudiantes que asisten a HUSD recibirán pruebas. Si recoge las pruebas en nuestro sitio, NO podrá recoger más pruebas de otro evento drive-thru dentro de nuestro distrito. Solo hay dos pruebas, por estudiante, que asisten a HUSD en este momento. Si no puede asistir a nuestro evento de autoservicio en Hollyvale, consulte las redes sociales para obtener más información sobre otros eventos de autoservicio o formas de recoger sus kits de prueba.
